Taurus New Moon Goes Beyond Manifestation

Dear Lovers of the Taurus New Moon,
Today I’d like to remind you that memory is embodied.*
We are who we are because of our memories. Our memories are created through putting our bodies in different situations and experiencing those situations sensorially, over and over again.
Our memory of our childhood home is not created out of a single experience there, but instead over many years of walking the carpets, opening the windows, snuggling in the beds.
For a memory to last, it has to root into other memories. It has to connect with something.
Our memories define who we are and the meaning we make of the world.
I’m getting into all of this with you now because it’s the Taurus New Moon, and Taurus is all about the body, the earth, the place where memories are made and live.
And I’ve been thinking a lot about magic, ritual and how – as the Necrostate seems ever more determined to wipe beauty from the face of the earth – holding space for enchantment to enter is an act of resistance and honor.
I define magic as collaborating with the energies around you in order to bring about the most beneficial result for all.
I see enchantment as the full flower of the life force as it flows through the web of life, charging it with swells of pure inspiration.
Like our memories, enchantment must be called in over and again. We must live it, repeat it, embody it as often as we can.
Embodying enchantment is my challenge to you this evening, dear Mysterions.
If we want the beauty of enchantment to take root within and around us, we have to make it physical.
The Taurus New Moon calls us into the present moment, where we don’t have to manifest anything, we just have to find the magic that is already with us.
Your invitation on this new moon is to call enchantment into the world through your body. Do it as an act of dedication and an act of love.
