New Moon in Pisces: Protecting Our Dream Worlds
Pisces season has begun, your dreams have a message for you.
Dear Ones,
Protecting and connecting with your dream world is an act of rebellion.
The powers of the Overculture want to limit what people can imagine about themselves and about their worlds.
When we connect with our dream world, we connect with a bottomless well of inspiration and possibility. We connect with our ancestors, teachers, muses and guides.
Early European anthropologists liked to visit the indigenous tribes of South America and attempt to prove that their holy people were liars and charlatans.
The curandero wasn’t really sucking an evil spirit from the body of a sick person, it was just a worm they’d held in their mouth. Shamans weren’t really conversing with the Spirits of the Ancestors, they were just on psychotropic drugs that made them hallucinate.
Severing people from the filaments connecting them to their dream worlds, severs them from their histories, and ways of making sense of reality. It primes them for extraction and domination.
By exposing the “charlatans” and demonstrating “the truth and superiority of Western Scientific Principles”, the social sciences were attempting to justify colonialism.
Of course, violence against dreams worlds wasn’t just pulled out of a hat in the 16th century. Cutting off people’s connection to their inner worlds and cultural imagination has been standard practice for the forces of domination since history began.
And it isn’t over. Violence against the imagination is still happening, to oppressed people throughout the world, and also to us — you and me.
Just as industrial light pollution prevents us from seeing out into the cosmos, industrial consciousness pollution obscures our inner worlds, making it difficult for us to access our imagination, our sense of awe and wonder, and connection to the spirit realms.
I see Pisces season as an opportunity to regenerate our dream worlds. To offer them our allegiance and our care.
This Pisces season, take some time to consider the following questions:
How do you access your dream world? What treasures are hidden in the realms of your imagination? How can our dream worlds interweave with the collective unconscious of all beings and help create a more beautiful world?
Today’s New Moon is a great time to set your intentions for Pisces season, stepping into the porthole of dreams, from which new possibilities emerge.

Take a clearing bath, with salts, lavender, an amethyst, call in the Guardians of Water, pay attention to what visions and messages surface from the depths while you’re in the bath.
