Happy almost New Moon, dear witches!
First of all, tonight (Thursday night) is the Dark Moon, Hecate’s moon. Don’t forget to give your offerings to Hecate tonight at the crossroads (particularly those of you who have been initiated into her mysteries, you know who you are!).
Remember, Hecate of the Dark Moon is Hecate the Devourer.
Give her all you can’t hold. All that’s too much. All that is floundering on its last legs (like, um, Western Civilization? I’m offering the USA up to Hecate this 4th of July and hoping she’ll compost it into something scrumptious and nourishing for EVERYONE).
Take the ashes to the crossroads and offer them to Hecate with a silver coin. Then…

Cancer Moon is the care moon. We are alive because of care. We earthlings will survive because of care. We are creating a world of nurturing and care. But we have to make space for it. We have to invite it in. We have to be the midwives. We have to start now. This moon is a good time to begin.
Ritual is a way to make the space we need to hold new ways of being. Witches are the midwives of the world of care being born. Let it it begin today.
