Messages from the Rose Medicine Moon
REMINDER: Moon Ritual tonight at 6pm PT (Sagittarius Moon, Rose Moon, Strawberry Moon)
Today is the Full Rose Moon in Sagittarius, and tonight at 6pm PT we’re holding our monthly ritual to celebrate it.
Roses are associated with the Virgin Mary, Freja, Venus and other goddesses of love, which means their medicine brings healing to the heart.
Since this Full Moon comes to us in the sign of Sagittarius, the sign that corresponds with Chiron, the wounded healer, and is ruled by Jupiter (who just moved in to Cancer) now is a great time to practice heart mending medicine.
Before you show up for our moon circle tonight, you might want to start pondering what healing means to you. For instance, how will you know when you have healed, or the world has healed?
Bring an object you associate with healing power to our ceremony tonight. For more prep ideas, see below.
Join us for our Full Moon in Sagittarius Ritual, tonight, Wednesday (6/11/25) at 6pm PST:
Please Prepare:
an altar with fire, air, earth, and water
offerings for the spirits (such as incense, wine, or flowers)
tarot cards and a journal
a healing object of your choice (choosing an object will help you consider what healing means to you, and what materials in the world around you help you do it)
(optional) wear purple, violet, or lavender — these are the colors of Jupiter who rules this moon
We will be practicing:
Somatic methods to build our capacity to hold our complexity of feelings
Divination to discover the medicine we need and the medicine we offer
Ritual magic to work with a healing object of your choice and develop your skill working with it
Jupiter rules this Moon (and Jupiter just moved into Cancer, the sign of his exultation!). Now is a time of medicine making, wisdom cultivation, and reorientation towards justice. Come be in community with us!
