Inside: A message about the medicinal offerings of Sagittarius season, some important updates, and your Sagittarius season Witch Guide.

Trio by Victoria Keeble - you can get a postcard print of it here.

Sagittarius is the dream horse, galloping towards adventure.

I think of Sagittarius as the “Yay-sayer”, which is why Sag season is always such a welcome gift after the occult intensity of the month of Scorpio.

Scorpio is Persephone as the Queen of the Dead, but Sagittarius is the music that calls her forth from the great below. Sagittarius calls us into the light of inspiration.

Whenever you don’t know which way to turn, look for the light of inspiration.

If you don’t know if you should stay in your relationship, look around in your life for that which brings you joy, and follow it.

If you don’t know whether you should quit your job, look for the light of inspiration in your life. Your inspiration will show you the doorway you need to enter to find your joy and purpose, and it will give you the energy you need to keep going while you figure out a way to make it work.

As a fire sign, Sagittarius brings transformation through inspiration and corresponds to the Temperance card in tarot.

From the Tarot del Fuego deck.

Scorpio rules the Death card and sweeps through the land laying waste to any form that can no longer exist in the current conditions.

Sagittarius arrives as the Angel of Temperance, flying over those wastelands, coaxing seeds to grow from the compost created by that which has fallen away.

Collectively, we’ve been through a grueling year.

We’ve experienced or witnessed unfathomable destruction. The storms of chaos gather in the mountains. Many of us are asking, “What do we do now? What do I do?”

All is not lost.

The Angel of Temperance arrives to light our way forward. She whispers, “Call in what you need. Pay attention to that which brings you joy. Nurture its growth. Shower what inspires you with love.”

Pay attention to joy this month.

While joy cannot solve every problem, it can help us navigate and provide the fuel we need to continue the journey. But we can’t just expect inspiration to fall into our laps (especially in times like these).

Sagittarius is a wanderer, a gallivanting centaur. They remind us that to be inspired, we need to seek our inspiration out.

As the saying goes, “What you seek is seeking you.”

If we look for inspiration, we awaken the inspiration that is in search of us, looking for a way to flow into the world.

In this month’s Witch Guide, I offer you rituals, divination tools, somatic exercises, creative prompts, and more to help you a map to help you map your way to Sagittarian joy. Use it with ecstatic abandon!

Fun Upcoming Offering - Cards of the Year Workshop

We’ve been living through the Strength year, a year that called us to recognize that true strength comes through our connection to one another and to our authentic selves. Next comes the Hermit Year, where we’ll be called to develop trust in our own spiritual practices and paths.

I’m going to be offering a 3-part workshop on working with your cards of the year in early January.

It’s going to be a combined class, so it will cover your cards of the year, creating a Book of Shadows to work with your magic throughout the year, AND a workshop about working with the Guardians of the Four directions.

Each class of the 3-part workshop will be $100, BUT(!) if you’re a yearly subscriber, you will get ALL THREE WORKSHOPS with the cost of yearly membership.

Which means you’ll get all three of the workshops, PLUS all the full moon rituals and witch guides FOR THE WHOLE YEAR, for $20 less than it would cost you to purchase the workshop on its own.

For those of you who are already yearly subscribers, stick around, because you get it automatically. For those of you who’ve been thinking about joining Mystery Cult, now’s the time! More on this soon, but in the meantime…
