Imbolc Spell Results
Gentle Blessings came through for all of you...
Dear Ones,
Eight times a year, on each witches’ sabbat of the Wheel of the Year, I offer my Founder’s Level subscribers a candle spell in deep gratitude for their support of my work.
Each of my Founder’s sends me a petition: a short statement based on their focused intentions for the season.
These spells are an opportunity for me to connect with each one of you, and speak your names out loud with all my bright blessings for your future.
Tomorrow, I will do the spell for Ostara, the Spring Equinox and the first day of Aries (instructions for Founder’s below). But before I do, I wanted to share the results of your Imbolc spell from February 1.
2025 had a difficult beginning. I probably don’t need to hash out all the details with you here; you know what they are.
What I loved about our Imbolc spell was it was so gentle.
On a sparkling bright morning, I took your candles on a walk through two labyrinths — one in the east, and one in the west — to bless them by the powers of Brigid.
As I walked to the center of the first labyrinth, I sang the song of Brigid’s welcome and knelt to bless the candles at the center, asking that she bring you comfort and ease.
As I walked the second labyrinth, I again sang the songs, this time accompanied by the laughter of a group of children who were playing beneath an oak tree nearby. An auspicious sign! I blessed the candles again by the powers of their enthusiasm.
As I wound my way out from the center of the second labyrinth and found my path again, I was greeted by a fearless lizard. When I knelt down to him, he ran up to me and blinked calmly with his yellow eye. His attitude was so calm, it augured for a subtle, gentle, coasting shift in the energies surrounding your intention.
When I brought the candles home to burn them on my altar, all was smooth and bright. I did some breathwork and energy raising exercises, then bathed the candles in rosewater and a fumigation of dried lavender.
Brigid’s energy always feels loving when I call her in, but this time she felt especially strong. It was as if the energy of your individual spells came together in mutual support of one another. The message I got for you was…
