Friday’s upcoming Taurus Full Moon is ruled by Venus, goddess of love and beauty.
Venus is the guardian of aesthetics.
While anesthetics are things that numb us or removes sensation, aesthetics are things that bring life and awaken our capacity for feeling. Hail Venus, morning star, awakener!
Many of us might be tempted to numb out right now. If, like me, you are feeling overwhelmed, you might be tempted to slip beneath the waves of vegetation and forgetting.
But, witches, the world needs you. We need to keep the fires of imagination and inspiration burning. Venus’s fires.
Tomorrow night’s Full Moon in Taurus ritual is an opportunity to breathe onto the fires of Venus, to make them leap, hotter, brighter, more able to keep us warm through the darkening months.
All you have to do is show up tomorrow night for the ritual, and you will leave feeling rejuvenated and refilled.

P.S. Necessary Supplies for the Ritual
In honor of this Venusian moon, we will be doing a mirror scrying ritual. Please bring a small mirror that you can work with for the ceremony. Hand held preferred. You’ll also want to bring a pack of tarot/oracle cards, a candle and matches, a journal and writing implement, a stone, a cup of water, incense, and offerings for the spirits.
