This Full Moon brings such a welcome energy for me right now; I’ve been feeling the suffering of the world so acutely. Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed with grief. The spirit of Leo guides me home to my heart.
The Lion reminds me what we are fighting FOR.
The Leo Full Moon is a rousing speech inspiring courage and daring. It calls us forth, to stand in unity. To remember how powerful we are together.
Leo rules the 5th house in Astrology, which is not only the house of fun, love affairs and sports, but also children and all that which issues from us. The 5th house is what we create.
Creativity is a form of rebellion.
Creativity liberates us from the imperatives of the Necroculture. Creativity is a bolt from the heart that sends us new stories. For ourselves, our families, our country, the world.
Tonight, at 6pm PST I’m holding a Full Moon in Leo ceremony to help us return home to our hearts. We will find the courage to release old stories stuck in our bodies, and call in the new ones ready to be told.
During this ceremony we will also be creating an amulet for protection and inspiration. So be sure to bring a piece of jewelry you love.

Please prepare:
an altar including a cup of water, a candle, a feather or incense and a stone
for your incense or burning herbs frankincense, vanilla, myrrh, benzoin, and lavender are all good bets
a journal and writing implement
tarot cards (if you have them)
offerings for the spirits
a piece of jewelry you would like to bless and keep as an amulet
