Enter the Lion's Gate
On the 8th day of the 8th month, the Sun is in the sign of the Leo and aligns with the dog star, Sirius*, “The Scorching One,” the brightest star in the sky.
Sirius is said to make our loins pulse with arousal, initiating awakenings in all beings who choose to make the passage across the threshold of the Lion's Gate.
On 8/8 a porthole opens and a trumpet from the stars hails us to step through it.
Crossing the threshold of the Lion's Gate takes courage. On the other side of that gate is you, burning brighter, using your true voice, and standing in your dignity as your most authentic self.
But many things need to fall away before we step through that gate.
We have to let go of the idea that:
we are small
we don't matter
we don't know what we're doing
that there's not room for us
We have to let go of excuses we've made as to why we're not doing the thing. We have to let go of the fear that we'll be punished, or that we'll do it wrong.
The good news is that on the other side of that gate is Your Calling. The contribution you know you're supposed to make. The thing only you can do. Waiting for you to cross.
I invite you to join me in using this transit to call in the courage to show up in your most glorious, authentic form.
So many people joined me in my Lion's Gate ritual last year and had such great results that I wanted to practice it again with you this year.
What’s especially powerful about this year is that we will begin on August 1st, the Full Moon, AND the pagan holiday of Lughnasadh, the first harvest festival of the year.
We will be tapping into the visioning powers of Aquarius and the courage of Leo to bring our creative visions into the material world, and to manifest abundance while doing it.**
Join me on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 6pm PST to begin the first day of the Lion’s Gate spell.
Note that we do the first day together and then I give you instructions for the next 7 days to do on your own. (They’re easy, like 10 minutes a day).
Under the light of The Scorching One, we shine brighter together.
